Generation: Sodium-ion batteries are a promising alternative to lithium-ion batteries — currently the most widely used type of rechargeable battery.Sodium is more environmentally friendly and can be transported at zero volt, making it safer; Sodium-ion battery uses aluminum which is cheap than copper; Sodium-ion battery has a higher operating temperature range.This means these can be used in more extreme temperatures without the risk of thermal runway.
